Q: I plan on upgrading my graphics card and power supply myself, I've got the anti static wrist strap taken care of, but I don't really want to spend money buying a non magnetic screwdriver. Is there a way to demagnetized a regular household screwdriver(I think/assume it's magnetic) and if so how? Would it be safe to work on computer components?
A: the magnet in a screwdriver isn't enough to damage computer hardware, i use one all the time with no problems at all.
