Clear up this for me..experts of pcs.?

Q: I just looked up on aida32 a program, that tells you your computer hardware. For system slots for the video graphic card. It shows like the following: PCI1 PCI2 PCI3 PCIEX16 So does that mean I have four slots? Like say I could actually get a graphics card that required PCIEX16.

A: You have four pci slots and one PCI-Express. Pci is usually for somthing like sound cards multimedia adapters and extra usb's Pci-e is for the graphics card. The transfer speed is much faster than pci so it will have more bandwidth for your video. If you wanted to get a graphics card i would look at the 8800gt 256 as they are dirt cheap on newegg 69.99 after MIR(mail in rebate) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125089 That is a good basic card for computer games aswell as some CAD stuff or photoshop Good luck -- jeff
