A: Depends, if your BIOS doesnt detect the drives, then no drivers will help it all. If you can POST and load the actually drives, but not install Windows, you'll need drivers to be loaded when it prompts you to hit F6 to load drivers. If you already have Windows loaded and the drives can't be loaded, then you need drivers for your CONTROLER CARD.
