Q: i found out how to overclock cpu and my gpu but i went back to my game i didnt get any more fps but..i should right? i used riviatuner and this is my video card http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3495761&CatId=1560 and i did overclock it but no more fps i have cpuz but it doesn't have fsb on there just htlink witch is 1004.6
A: overclocking doesn't always give you instant results. If you want to oc you really want to tweak multiple things e.g. cpu, gpu, ram voltage etc. This takes some patience and testing to see how far you can go without overheating if you are running a stock system (i.e. no special cooling). get a program called cpuz and see what your fsb:dram ratio is. You want it at 1:1 (since you mentioned a cpu overclock)
