Does that mean that I cant buy a 1 GIG memory stick and put it in one slot? does that mean that I have to buy two 512 MB sticks and combine them? A: Your motherboard chipset only supports 1GB max with 512MB modules in each of the two slots. If you bought a 1GB module and inserted it the computer will fail to boot. Run this scanner, it is better http://www.memoryx.net/
