I did the memory upgrade scan at Crucial.com but I have a question?

Q: Here is my results: http://crucial.com/systemscanner/viewscanbyid.aspx?id=191E648131D926C3 Now, it shows on there going as high as putting 512MB in each slot, but it doesn't say anything about putting 1 GIG in one slot. Does that mean that I cant buy a 1 GIG memory stick and put it in one slot? does that mean that I have to buy two 512 MB sticks and combine them? If I buy one 1 GIG stick and put it in one slot will it mess up my computer?? Help?? Opps sorry link didn't work its here: text

A: Your motherboard chipset only supports 1GB max with 512MB modules in each of the two slots. If you bought a 1GB module and inserted it the computer will fail to boot. Run this scanner, it is better http://www.memoryx.net/
