Q: What would be my best choice for a gaming hard drive ... do i want a raptor is that really a boots in performance with its 10k rps or would a 7.2k rps be just as good. looking for something that would be the best for my money. open on ideas
A: I know most high capacity SATA II HDD have poor reliability, but I know the fastest 10k rpm is a WD Velociraptor http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/HDD-SATA-VelociRaptor,1914-10.html It is actually a 2.5" drive in a 3.5" chasis and stores 300GB or 150GB instead of the measly 74GB in the native 3.5" raptor drives
