Q: Ok, my monitor when I woke up and turned it on was WHITE... The entire screen was White and extremely blurry. it was nearly impossible to see anything now i have a new 'monitor' its a flat screen tv screen/monitor by DYNEX and i have to scroll to see the whole screen Can my former 10 year old POS be fixed? Does anyone know ANYTHING about this DYNEX TV/MONITOR? THANK YOU its fixed now. Time to smash the old one it was a good monitor.. but its gonna die now!
A: If its 10 years old, it's probably a CRT and not worth being fixed. You can get a simple LCD for a comparable price. The scrolling can probably be fixed in your monitors resolution settings. If you are using windows, right click on the desktop and go to properties then settings, and you will see a box for screen resolution. You can slide the icon over to have a larger resolution to eliminate those scroll bars.
