caggy... This problem all of a sudden appeared..?

Q: If I keep trying it the batterery will go flat. shall I try and knock the starter motor with a hammer? I really need to sort out this prob, Ive got interviews to go to next week. and short of cash.

A: If the engine is trying to fire then the starter motor is ok. If there is a problem with the ignition system, it may be possible to over-ride it temporarily by removing the sparking plugs and reducing the gaps to 0.5mm. While the sparking plugs are out, squirt a small amount of WD40 into the plug holes which will help to start the engine. If none of these work, then sorry - it really is a garage job. Good luck with the interviews. Edit - is it possible you have taken off the sparking plug caps and then put them back on the wrong plugs?
