Q: After not using the computer for about ten minutes or so it returns to the screen where my photo is as adminisrator and I have to click on my picture to get back to the desk top. How can I stop this and just stay on the desktop after I log in??
A: easy one: 1. right click on your desktop (where there are no icons), choose properties 2. click the screen saver tab 3. make sure the box reading "On Resume, Display the Welcome Screen" is unchecked. 4. click the "Power" button in the same box with the screensaver settings. 5. click the "advanced" tab 6. make sure the box reading "prompt for password when computer resumes from standby is unchecked. 7. click OK, then OK again, and you are done!
