Q: I have recently reformatted my computer in order to get it running better. Of course in the process I have had a hard time getting things to work as they did before. One of my problems has been running my 2nd monitor. I have 2 video cards (an ATI X300 and a NVIDIA GeForce 6200) and I am having problems with the monitor connected to the GeForce. Logic would say go to the website, download the drivers, uninstall whatever I had and install the good. This hasn't worked yet, so I'm doing something wrong. Please enlighten me. When I go into 'properties' on the desktop for that video card the only option is the one it is currently set on. It will not allow me to scroll it to higher resolution or color setting.
A: you have to go into the bios and change the setting of how the video can be displayed. Also, there may be a program missing that you have to install in order for it to work.
