Q: I recently hooked up my laptop to my TV. I am using a VGA connection and see my computer screen on my TV but I get this annoying flicker that is definitely coming from my computers end. How can I stop this flicker? BEST RESPONSE GETS VOTED BEST ANSWER!!!! I am using Vista, and I am not so sure what other details may be needed. I tried changing the refresh rate. The only refresh rate on there is 60. If you think you can help message me on Yahoo! Okay so somehow more refresh rates showed up and I changed it to 75 which seems to have worked. THANKS MAN So the issue is not longer occurring thank you for your help. The refresh rate solved it. So the issue is not longer occurring thank you for your help. The refresh rate solved it.
A: Hard to answer this question with out all the info but try changing the refresh rate... Right click desktop then choose properties then settings tab then choose advanced... then monitor then change it to 60 if its already at 60 try to move it up to highest which may be 75..
