Q: Can the Radeon 9600 pro use 3 monitors at once, and if so how? It has 3 ports and I have 2 monitors and a tv hooked in, but only 2 will work at once and the other is blank. Thanks for the help. I have 1 dvi port, 1 s-video port and 1 analog and I have 2 analog monitors . I am using an analog to dvi converter for 1 monitor and an rca to s-video converter for the tv. Should have said this to begin with. But I hope it helps even more now. To answer1: I agree but I will probably have to use an analog splitter instead so I won't have to get another anolog to dvi converter.
A: Not as a desktop extension or even cloned images for that matter. 2 is the limit with what you have. If you are trying to use a S-Video or RCA output and both DVI outputs at the same time it wont work. However, there is hope. What you want is a DVI splitter. This will allow for a clone of upto 4 screens at once. As far as, desktop extensions for more than 2 monitors, its possible but expensive. See below.
