Q: My monitor goes to sleep in the middle of typing. It won't wake up no matter how much I wiggle the mouse and hit keys on the key board. The only way to wake it up is to reboot the entire system. In an effort to fix this I have updated my graphics driver and my monitor driver, I have set the controls to never go to sleep, I have scanned for viruses, I have checked all connections, I have made sure that the resolution is set to the native resolution of the monitor. It still happens. There is no pattern to when it does this. It might go six hours without happening and it might happen every five minutes. There is no particular website or activity that triggers it. I have no idea what is going on. My graphics card is a NVIDIA GEForce 7500 LE, and my monitor is an HP w22. My OS is Vista. HELP!
A: I had a similar thing happen recently, took my computer to best buy they ran a diagnostic test and told me my mother board was bad..... good luck
