Q: is it ok to use like windex or will it ruin it
A: Use a soft cloth, warm water with a drop of dawn or other dishwashing liquid in it (don't use any that have lotion in them). dip a portion of the cloth in the water solution and wring it out, wipe the lcd screen carefully with the wet cloth then use the dry portion of the cloth to dry. Don't under any circumstances use windex or other glass cleaner.
