Q: My computer has these thin lines on the screen or Desktop and I can't get rid of them! I want to know what they are and how can I remove them because I think they can destroy my computer! They come in many colors many and they block my screen! How can I remove them!:( And Yes its a laptop!
A: Is this computer a laptop? Or do you have an LCD screen? if the problem is what I believe it is... you have a laptop, and your screen was twisted/bent more than it should have been. You need a new screen. The lines are caused by separation and improper signal between the controller and the LCD panel itself. Changing a video card/motherboard will not help. It is what happens when there is almost enough pressure to actually crack the screen. Sometimes it happens because someone always opens their laptop by lifting from the corner, repeatedly putting a twist on the screen. Sometimes it happens because someone puts a heavy weight on the laptop when it is closed.
