Q: I read on many webpages that because older CRTs have faster response times compared to LCDs, they go with CRTs. A CRT monitor can better render color images than an LCD, which has a more limited range of color reproduction. So...besides the space saving benifits and trying to look 'cool'.. why are so many people spending $1000's on LCDs when CRTs work better for gaming?? Thanks
A: It's true that CRTs are super awesome, LCDs are not the same as they were years ago. They are amazing and are pretty on par with CRTs and will very soon surpass them. So the pros outweigh the cons. LCDs are better than CRTs overall.
