Q: my video card and most video cards out there have a dvi and vga port. i was wondering whether or not i can hook up both at the same time. i ask becaus my LCD monitor has both analog and digital mode. so digital goes to the dvi and analog is VGA. but VGA is the only one that supports HDCP to playback HD dvd 's but dvi does not support HDCP and cannot. so i was wondering if i could hook both up to my video card and just switch to analog or dvi while my computer is on. my biggest concern is breaking my video card. with both ports connected i don't want to overload the vid card. i've broken video cards before so i know that they are sensitive and not to experiment with video cards.
A: you can use one or the other not both at the same time the div is better cause that is a digital video inpuiter and the vga is just the stander cgta conecttion
