Q: i have a laptop that has no screen as in (its been broken off lol ) it still starts up :) i have a 2nd flat screen monitor that goes with my pc i tried to connect it you can see the laptop start up screen then it just goes black as if its not connected plz help i have so many photos on this laptop there has to be a way if it starts up just need it to stay lol thankyou if you can help!!!! grrrrrrrrrrrr ok its a fujitsu siemens amilo pro hope thats ok? aww cheers pressed fn and f3 and it works thankyouuuuuu
A: Couple answers here. Most laptops have a button to activate this. It tends to look a little like a monitor screen in blue print on the key. By clicking this in combination with the "fn" key, it "should" activate the monitor. If it doesn't, you might have to change it in the video card settings, and if that's the case, you might be screwed. It could also be a bad video card. I'm going to take a guess and say if the LCD is ripped off the laptop has seen better days. This doesn't mean you've lost your pictures though!! At an electronics store (Best buy, etc...) you can buy an enclosure for the hard drive. One made for a 2.5 inch drive, that's the size a laptop hard drive is. You can then take out the hard drive from the laptop and place it into the enclosure and plug it into your other PC using USB!! Good Luck!!
