Q: if i dont move my mouse for a couple of seconds, or dont do anything, it just turns black, then i have to move the mouse to turn it back to normal and its not the screensaver help?!?!?!?!? =) i have a dell desktop, i got it in 2006, it has a lcd screen, dont know the exact model, sorry umm it takes about 2 seconds to come back after i move the mouse, dont know what BIOS means, but it started doing it after watching a movie online and its done it before, but it stopped somehow
A: Its called "sleep". The computers resources aren't being used so it thinks why use them, so it goes into sleep mode, it actually helps your computer if you keep it on 24/7. Just go into the power settings if you don't want it to, but don't complain if the computer fights with you when your trying to do something thats hard on its processor.
