Good HDTV to use as a computer monitor?

Q: Just wondering what would be a good one to go with and what resolution I should get (like 720 vs 1080). The reason I want to do this as opposed to getting a normal computer monitor is that the only thing I really use my computer for is writing programs so I really don't care about getting the best picture possible. I just don't want to have to stare at a tiny screen for hours on end. Also, I could hook my PS3 up to the HDTV so it's like super double win. I'm mostly interested in what resolution I should go for. I have my laptop's set to 720 because the 1080 just makes pages (web and text) kinda hard to read and I don't feel like hitting "CTRL " a bunch of times every time I open something. Thank you for your input!

A: maybe the 24" upwards lcd displays that is HDTV compatable, that should give u a good clear picture.
