This is for the computer geeks that I love ;)?

Q: On my computer, the pictures aren't clear. They look like they're made out of specks. Like, any picture on any website or My Pictures, is made out of speck looking things. They used to look normal and clear, but then I fiddled with the computer's contrast and brightness for the screen. The buttons are right below the screen. There is an exit button, contrast button(left arrow too)brightness button(right arrow too) and an enter button. I just need to know what setting to put it on for the pictures to look normal. If you can answer this, and it works, thank you soooooo much. ;) If this helps, it's a Dell. It's not a flat screen though. It's like a box. I have no clue how to fix it because I am stupid when it comes to computers. ;) I just tried setting it back to 50, but it was almost black! I set the contrast on 100, and brightness on 50, but it still looks "specky". and i know its not something about a video slot. i just messed up the settings. the highest the brightnest and contrast can go is 100. lowest is 0.

A: The default values are usually 50% brightness and 100% contrast. There should also be a way in the monitor's on screen menu to reset the monitor's settings to the default values. Just in case you adjusted some other aspect of the monitor by mistake.
