Why is my monitor blacking out?

Q: I just got DSL from AT&T yesterday and it came with a modem with wireless built in that is connected to my PC with an ethernet cable, and I also hooked up a Pelican wireless networking adapter for my Xbox 360, and if I have the Xbox hooked up and playing on Xbox Live for a while the monitor on my PC monitor will black out, I would think from interference, and if I disconnect the Pelican router from my 360 my screen will go back to normal after a while. If I turn the monitor off and back on it will stay lit up for about 5-10 seconds, then black out again. When it's blacked out you can still see what's on the monitor but it is very dark, like the back light isn't on. I've tried messing with the options on my monitor, and I've tried other computers, but it still blacks out. The monitor is situated right next to the router for my PC on the desk, and it's in just about in between that router and the one on my 360 in the next room. If anyone needs more info then feel free to ask.

A: The most likely problem is that your monitor's RF converter is experiencing interferance from the router. The best thing to do would either be to move the monitor and wireless devices, or go old school, try wrapping the back with tin foil.
