Q: Whenever I run a full screen application that doesn't involve the touching of keyboard and mouse (ie watching movie / play games using joystick), the monitor will sleeps itself after a preset time that can be configured in the power options, and it will get back on after I've moved the mouse or touched the keyboard. I know I can just configure the monitor not to sleep at all, but i just don't think this is normal, and there must be a way to set my monitor to sleep after, let's say 30mins, but at the same time, the monitor will not turn off after 30mins into running full screen applications without touching the keyboard and mouse. I'm on Vista. Is there someone out there who knows how to do this?
A: ok this is due to the power save options which can be changed in right click desktop screen savor power options and then changing the settings you want in the window that pops up
