Q: I'm a gamer and I'm sick of LCD monitors. Their Color is terrible, they don't have the clarity, the response a CRT monitor has (CRT has not response rate), and this native resolution mumbo jumbo always makes me mad. Where can still buy a good CRT monitor. I was looking at view sonic, and didn't think their 1 gamer monitor that they make was that bad. Are there any others? I do not care about the weight of the monitor. I do not care how ugly it looks compared to an LCD. CRT, to me should of stayed on the PC market for gamers who care about their picture quality.
A: I agree 100%. Been PC multiplay gaming for years (BF1942, BF2, CS:S, COD:4) - and I still use a Viewsonic 21' 810 Graphical Series CRT - which blows away any flat panel, digital, LCD, etc. You can find remanufacturing companies who do Viewsonic only - with a limited reman warranty. I paid $100 5 years ago, shipping included and still enjoy gaming each and every day.
