Q: I run dual monitors and sometimes the 2nd screen is the same for a long time...can i burn into the screen if im not careful?
A: Yes, if you have the same image on the CRT for long periods of time you will burn it in. That's the original reason that the Screen Saver was invented, to "save" the image burning into the CRT phosphor coating. This also happened to me last week with an LCD screen, it displaying pretty much the same image for two whole weeks! I have no experience of a plasma doing this, but at least one of the other answer says that it happens!
