High resolution?

Q: What does it mean when something on the computer is High Resolution?

A: Only an image can be High-Resolution. For Media, it's High-Definition. A High-Resolution Image means it's quality can be superb, without distorting the image at all. Let's say for example you wanted to scan a High-Res Image of the little eye on the incomplete pyramid on the back of a one dollar bill. If you scan it under just the right settings, depending on your scanner, you can make that little eye cover your entire monitor just as it it. You will be able to see every little detail. It's really awesome.
