Q: My computer wont pick up the computer screen and its hooked all up....? im not on the computer but my brother tried to move it to get a internet thing to work so when he hooked it all up it wouldnt work it is also a emachine
A: Make sure that the VGA or DVI connecter is in the right port, try it in another one you may have. If this does not work: Check the monitor actually works , you should know it works by a message coming up saying "no signal" or it working with other PC's. It could be a faulty Graphics card, i would recommend checking it out. as above, then try the motherboard port for the DVI/VGA connector. Does the computer actually turn on, does the green light appear and is there a hum. If not the computer's Motherboard is the prob.
