Q: I am using a laptop with a full screen monitor extended display. I want the large monitor as my primary display. However the box that you check to say "Make this my primary display" is greyed out. I will not allow me to change it. Any ideas how to fix this?
A: depends on the video card. If your using nVidia or ATI/AMD open the control panel for the card (nView or Catalyst Control Center) and you should have an option there to change the the primary monitors. If your using an integrated video card such as intel, your SOL :( go to device manager and click the display adapters entry to see what video card you have.
