Q: It's never done this before. I have checked the connection and that appears to be okay. The screen stablises once the computer's booted up though. I have been using computers for a great many years and I have never seen this happen before. I was concerned that it may compromise the integrity of the LCD monitor screen with the flashing on and off.
A: After bootup the graphics card driver will have been loaded up. Prior to the O/S booting up it wont be - thats the problem. I had the same thing with a PC I was building one time, it happens. Its not a serious problem so don't worry about it.
