Q: Whenever I click and image and try to set it up as my desktop, nothing shows but a black screen. This happens to any image as anything I try to set up as my background doesn't show... This is all I get.. http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n5/SmashMan_01/fk.jpg However if I right click on desktop, arrange icons by, and click show desktop items so that all the stuff on the desktop won't show, THEN THE IMAGE I TRY TO USE AS MY DESKTOP WILL SHOW... http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n5/SmashMan_01/fk2.jpg Only problem with that is the stuff I need on the desktop won't show... So who wants 10 points?
A: Try to use System Restore and restore the computer's state at a time when it was fine. PS - Copy your NEW** files to you iPod, DVD or any media because the files' state will be restored to the time that you have chosen. **files created or modified after the chosen restore point time. Example: You have chosen to restore the computer's state at 02 PM (because your computer was fine at that time)....so.....it it is 07 PM now.......the files from the last 5 hours that has been modified or created will be restored to its state at 02 PM.
