Q: The colors seems to start with a purpleish tone on the left of the screen and shift into the green spectrum on the right side. Also, the image no longer fits on the screen as it did this morning (it's angled down to the right and the whole image is pushed off the right side of the monitor). And, yes to the obvious question, I have rebooted the computer (soft reboot and then a hard reboot) and the problem is still there.
A: It sounds to me like your monitor is dying. I suggest you buy a new one before this one goes out for good. If you think that isn't the case try messing with the screen properties to see if you can change it. Good Luck!
