A: Your computer could be running other programs in the background that is causing your computer to run slow. The result of this would be your cursor freezing up or temporary disappearing as the computer tries to keep up with whatever you're doing. If you dont have programs running in the background your computer could be running possible spy or adware in which running a virus sweep or "cleaning" your drives should fix that problem. Defragmentation of your harddrive could also help speed things up.
