Q: i can only get desktop picture i dont get any icons or mouse i am running windows xp home .am i doing something wrong or is it that the driver or bios need updating
A: I used to have this problem. Go into Start>Control Panel.Display>Settings>Monitor 2. Then click Extend My windows Deskptop onto this monitor. Then click the other box above it which says Use this as my primary monitor. This will bring everything on your laptop screen onto your tv. I hope this helps
