Q: In order for my monitor to light up,I have to repeatedly unplug [as per instructions] or keep turning on and off until finally it will stay on until it "goes to sleep" then I have to do it all over again. Its that [osd lockout ]thing?
A: ...........If you have a monitor and you need to repeatedly turn it on and off, and plug and unplug it to get it to stay on there is a serious issue with your monitor. Since its only two months old it should still be under the warrenty. Contact the store you bought it from first, see if they can do anything for you. If not, contact HP and see about getting a replacement.
