Q: With running 3 monitors can you clone all 3 monitors?... I havent been able to find an option or any tutorials on google. I have 24" 19" 19" all are widescreen I know the higest I will be able to go is 1400 x 900 as thats the max res on a 19" wide monitor & my 24" will have no trouble supporting that res.. I cant seem to do find an option to clone all 3 I'm running Duel Ati 3870x2's ....... anyone with any info or that could point me in the right direction will get best answer I've 4 gpu's 1 monitor is in the 1first gpu 1 is in the 2nd 1 is in the 3rd.. thats if I select Identify Gpu's in The Catalyst Control Center my mistake 24" monitor is gpu 1 both the 19" monitors are in gpu 3
A: I do not believe it is possible to clone all 3 monitors the way you are trying to do it. I have found it is not possible to clone across 2 video cards. The cloning must be done on the one card using the DVI and VGA outputs simultaneously. You could buy a VGA monitor splitter cable to output the VGA to 2 monitors, and have one of the monitors on DVI, or for consistency, you could use a DVI-I to VGA adaptor so they are all running off analogue (VGA).
