Q: my sister says that when you have a screen saver it eats energy from you computer is that true... are screen savers bad?
A: No, screen savers are harmless to the computer. They do eat electricity since they require your computer monitor to be on to run. To save energy I would just turn the monitor off when you leave and turn it back on when you come back.
