Q: I have a Samsung TFT monitor and when i turn it on it goes off after about 15 minutes!! I have tried connecting in to another PC and the same thing keeps happening.. I then have to wait about 15 minutes to turn on again only for it to turn off again!! Whats going on!? is it worth repairing and what could be the problem..Please help!?:) Thanks:) Thanks PC tech, but i have alwasy had it off, and double checked to see if it was still on!! On 3 PCs i have used this monitor and it just cuts out!
A: Just turn off power saving in control panel. 1. Right-click your desktop. 2. Select Properties link. 3. Select the Screen Saver tab. 4. Click the Power button. 5. Select the Power Schemes tab. 6. Turn the power saving feature on or off. * To turn the power saving feature on: From the Turn Off Monitor drop-down list, select a time after which you want the monitor to go into power-saving mode. * To turn the power saving feature off: From the Turn Off Monitor drop-down list, select Never. 7. Click OK. 8. In the Display Properties window, click OK.
