Q: I accidentally spilled water and the water seeped in LCD. Is the water going to dry up or is my LCD ruined? :(
A: It is probably ruined BUT try this anyway: unplug it (carefully) ASAP take out the battery and anything that comes off (pc cards, memory card, etc) put down a towel turn it upside down to dry out (DO NOT SHAKE) leave it to dry for at least 48 hours (yes, that's two days of you not touching your laptop) (if you want to risk it, you could speed it up with a hair dryer on the lowest setting.... but.... i don't recommend it) after waiting, see if it will power on. if it does, immediately make a backup of all your important information (email, pictures, homework) because it still might die. if your laptop is still under warranty, you might just want to call and get a replacement. good luck!
