Q: Hi, I have n eMachines computer at home (a few years old) and now the monitor won't work. Whe I push the putton to turn it on nothing happens, it doesn't sound like it is turning on, the light doesnt come on, nothing. The tower itself does work though, it's just a monitor problem. I have even checked all the connections. My question is, is is dead and do I need a new one? If i get a new (used) monitor, does it have to be eMachines to be compatible with my computer, or will any monitor work? I can't afford a brand new one....
A: ANY monitor will work. and there is no power getting to your monitor, which means the monitor could either be fried or just not plugged in, or the cable for the monitor is faulty. ~best of luck to you
