Q: My monitor is a 17" widescreen. On the top of it it say HDMonitor. I'm running it a 1280 x 720 which is a 720P resolution. So, is this HD but I don't think my graphics (intel media accelerator 950) HD
A: Standard definition is anything lower or equivalent than 480i/p And High defition is anything higher than 480i/p(which would include your resolution): 720i/p 1080i/p Usually HD is in reference to television monitors and at this time the 720i/p and 1080i/p are considered high definition monitors.
