Q: I've run into a strange problem with MS Excel 2007 in Vista. At home, I've got two monitors. When I left, I apparently left Excel in my secondary monitor. I'm connecting to my home computer, but can't get Excel moved back into the main monitor. I've tried to "restore" the window and "move" it just like other apps, but "move" is grayed-out. I've tried "Alt+space, M", but it does not work. Any ideas? To Server: Good idea. Did that and was able to see the Excel spreadsheet. I think it has something to do with the options for Excel. It's like the spreadsheet is in its own mini-window inside of Excel. When you minimize the spreadsheet, it minimizes inside of an Excel window. The 'main' Excel window does not show up in the toolbar, but I see it in task manager. Could be a settings issue. I'm new to Yahoo answers. Is there a way to mark your answer as a correct answer?
A: The move options should work, not sure why it is failing. Maybe a vista bug. Try going into you Display properites and turning off the second monitor (Uncheck the options to span to the other monitor). This should force everything back to a single monitor mode.
