Q: Hooked up Macbook Mini to LCD tv and the picture is absolutely fine. Iv'e connected an icable to the RCA for sound, but there is no sound coming out. I would appreciate any help. Thanks :-)
A: Hello londonsyard, So is it a MacBook, or a Mac Mini? Those are two different models of computers. The MacBook is a laptop, the Mini is a CPU box that you connect keyboard, monitor, mouse, etc. to. I'm guessing that it's a Mini. Try getting into your System Preferences settings. Under the Hardware heading click on the Sound icon. Now you click on the Output tab. Under the Choose a device for sound output, you should be given a listing of connected devices to assign. Also, be aware of the Output volume too. I'm not sure if you can adjust the volume from your keyboard. Also, some keyboards have a mute key too. If this doesn't work, can you try plugging in an alternative sound system? Best of luck. --Rick
