Q: I just bought a 9800 geoforce graphics card, with a 500 wats power unit. I started my computer, it usually stays on screen for 5 mins then the monitor shuts down and says Entering Power save, now i have a 24 inch windscreen, at first i thought there was a problem with the monitor but then i tried another monitor, 22 inch full screen and the same thing happened. Now im not sure what exactly is going on, i tried different power cables but the same thing happens. i just want to know some known issues of why this screen pops up.
A: right click the desktop and choose properties, then go to the screensaver tab and click on monitor power options. from there you can adjust your energy saving settings
