Dual Monitor Support with NVIDIA drivers?

Q: I am using the latest NVIDIA drivers (175.19) in Windows XP and I am having trouble setting up my two monitors to work the way I would like them to. I would like to set up my monitors so that the second monitor is an extension of the first, rather than a clone. But, if I maximise a program, I would like it to remain on one monitor, rather than stretching out across both monitors, like it does in the horizontal and vertical settings under "Set up multiple displays" in the NVIDIA Control Panel. I know that it was possible to do this with previous drivers but, I cannot seem to figure out how to do it with the latest drivers. As I play many games and like to stay updated, I would rather not use outdated drivers.

A: Goto your video properties and find ( it may be in the advanced settings) a checkbox or button that says "extend my desktop to this monitor" or very close to that, put a check in it and hit apply,
