Colour on my screen?

Q: Hi I swiched on my computer today and my screen was very blue... after a while it went back to normal but seemed very bright, now all the coloures seen to be very strange, really bright, and if say i open word up the backdrop is usually a dark blue but its really light on mine and its really hard to see scroll bars as these have also turned very light in colour. Ive checked my tv screen menues and all the cetting are still as they always were... anyine any idea whats gone wrong or how i can fix it? Thank you

A: Try changing the brightness, contrast and colour settings and see what happens. Try the monitor on another computer. If it's the same then it's on it's way out the door and on it's way to monitor heaven! If it's OK then it points at your video/graphics card. Process of elimination really
