Q: I've seen a couple people using a second monitor with their laptop and it essentially gives you twice the space to open up programs. How do you do it?
A: (1) Get a monitor (2) use the chord with the corresponding output on your laptop (probably VGA or DVI) to connect the monitor. (3) Your computer might automatically detect the monitor and ask you where it is positioned in relationship to your laptop & if you want to make it your main monitor. If it does not, go to your display settings in the control panel (Windows XP/Vista) and make your adjustments there.
