Q: The screen flashes varying degrees of hot pink. It lasts for maybe 15 seconds and then it goes away, but then it comes back again later. Is this something I can fix, or should I buy a new computer monitor? I have a desktop computer
A: If you have a desktop computer I would try tests to see whether it is your computer or your monitor before ripping apart your computer or sending it in the get fixed. First, you might want to borrow a friend or family members monitor...no pink then it is your monitor. You could also take your monitor and use it with someone elses computer...no pink then something is messed with your computer. From what you wrote it sounds like you have a desktop but if you infact have a laptop a wire connecting the base of the laptop to the screen may be messed up. Which is pretty common and shouldn't be a big deal to get fixed. Or you could have a rave?
