Q: my computer monitor has a blue tint to it, and its very very annoying! everything else is great about it, but the monitor always has that stupid blue tint! it used to go away when i banged on it(open hand slap it really hard with both my hands), but now it just doesnt go away anymore! i think its just the monitor is what im guessing. please help.
A: Well, I'm guessing that you have an older CRT monitor. You might be able to fix some of this by messing with the levels of your monitor (look for the menu button and play with hue/tint), but it just might be time for a new LCD. www.newegg.com has some absurdly good deals on monitors, and you might find that you're just a lot happier with a new monitor. LCD's save a TON of space, and you won't have that blue tint.
