Q:
A: Oh, I've had this problem too; try these tips: 1. Use an anti-virus program to scan for malware; there are many you can use, but I recommend AVG [ http://free.grisoft.com/ ]. 2. Check your registry, especially if your monitor comes with an installer/program. I recommend CCleaner [ http://lifehacker.com/384990/ccleaner-20-decrapifies-your-pc ] AND nCleaner [ http://www.nkprods.com/ncleaner/ ], but be careful of what you delete! When in doubt, don't delete it. And it's probably smart to backup your registry in CCleaner and set the deleted files to Recycling Bin in nCleaner for your first time using it. 3. If all else fails, you're going to need to get a new monitor, as I did. I was using a Daewood model, but after finally loosing an important doc. because my monitor refused to work, I switched to LG's Flatron model, which works perfectly fine. I hope this helps!
