Q: i have a dell inspiron 6000 and i have a older deawoo 27 inch tv.. how do i hook them togher so i can use the tv screen as the computer screen
A: Your laptop needs to have a Video out - called an S-Video output. http://west.wwu.edu/atus/classrooms/images/g_SVideoJack.gif There should be an S-video input on your TV, plug the one end of the cable to the TV, the other to the S-video of the Laptop. If your TV has RCA input, http://www.tvcrit.com/RCAplugs.gif you can buy a cable that is one end RCA and the other end S-video. Same type of hookup and attachement. Then inside your computer, switch the display to S-video output and adjust the resolution of the display to fit on the TV.
